In Session 3, your practice will look specifically at your data and procedures related to brief intervention for patients identified with unhealthy alcohol use (UAU).

Objectives

Identify the number of patients 18 years of age and older who test positive for UAU, and receive brief intervention and/or other treatment.
Determine your practice’s current workflow and procedures for delivering brief intervention for patients who test positive for UAU.
Develop a PDSA cycle plan to improve your practice’s workflow and procedures for delivering brief intervention for patients who test positive for UAU.
