UAU Brief Intervention
In Session 3, your practice will look specifically at your data and procedures related to brief intervention for patients identified with unhealthy alcohol use (UAU).
Objectives
- Identify the number of patients 18 years of age and older who test positive for UAU, and receive brief intervention and/or other treatment.
- Determine your practice’s current workflow and procedures for delivering brief intervention for patients who test positive for UAU.
- Develop a PDSA cycle plan to improve your practice’s workflow and procedures for delivering brief intervention for patients who test positive for UAU.
