Quality improvement (QI) in health care has been around for centuries and, more recently, has been a focus of practice transformation. This module focuses on effective quality improvement models for improving processes of patient care and provides quality improvement tools that can be implemented in the office setting.

  • Demonstrate the ability to utilize practice improvement tools such as process mapping and PDSA cycles.
  • Participate actively in practice improvement meetings and PDSA cycles.
  • Demonstrate the ability to access, evaluate, and act on quality data.
