Welcome to the Facilitating Alcohol Screening and Treatment (FAST) Project!

Your practice is part of the virtual practice facilitation + eLearning (VPF+eL) group. As part of this group, your practice will participate in monthly virtual meetings with 3-5 members of your practice team and your practice facilitator. If your practice is participating in FAST as part of your health system, you may be participating in the virtual sessions with other practices. During each virtual session, you will work with your practice team to examine your practice’s processes and procedures for screening and treatment for unhealthy alcohol use (UAU). For Session 2, you will specifically look at how your practice screens for patients with UAU.

Objectives

• Identify the screening tool your practice uses or will use to identify patients with unhealthy alcohol use.
• Identify the number of adult patients who have currently been screened for unhealthy alcohol use.
• Describe your practice’s process for screening patients with unhealthy alcohol use.
