Knowledge Self Assessment and Performance Improvement Modules

CU e-Learning offers Knowledge Self-Assessment (KSA) and Performance Improvement (PI) modules that have been approved by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Upon registration, KSA modules are listed under Clinicians and Practice Transformation on the My Account page. The 11 modules represent one KSA activity. To receive credit, Diplomates must complete all 11 modules.

Each PI module is worth 20 credits with ABFM.  For ABFM Diplomates, we currently offer six PI modules focused on general patient care topics.

  • Patient- and Family-Centered Care Design
  • Cost and Value of Care
  • Care Coordination Across the Medical Neighborhood
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Tobacco Cessation

Additionally, the KSA and PI e-Learning modules may qualify for American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Prescribed credits.  Many healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Registered Dietitians, can use AAFP credits for their Continuing Education (CE) needs.
